How do I schedule an appointment?
Contact one of our offices at 812-662-9500 or 812-932-3224 & we will be happy to schedule you for an appointment. We have daytime, evening & Saturday hours available.
Are there any requirements on how long I have to participate in the program?
There is no time frame requirements or commitments with our program. You can choose to stop the program at any time.
How long does the program take and how much weight can I expect to lose?
Program length will depend on individual weight loss goals and dedication to your goals. You can expect to lose an average of 5-10 pounds a month.
Can I submit my visit through my health insurance?
Weight Loss Solutions by AccuDoc does not accept health insurance. You may pay with cash, check or credit card. We do accept HSA cards as well.
Are there any weight restrictions to qualify for the program?
Yes, you must meet a BMI of at least 25 to be considered for the Indiana program.
Are there any health conditions that I may have that may disqualify me from the program?
There are certain health conditions and medications that may disqualify you from the program. A letter of medical clearance is required for those with heart conditions or if you are over 65. Please call our office and we would be happy to assist you with any questions regarding specific medications or health conditions.
What is the required waiting period to start the program after giving birth?
After you are released from your doctor, you may begin the program. This is generally 6-8 weeks postpartum.
What if the provider or myself decide the medication is not the best fit for me?
If you or the provider decide the medication is not a good fit, we still want you to have success with weight loss. We still want to monitor your progress with monthly weigh ins, setting new goals and helping you reach those goals.
What if I miss my dose?
Take medication as soon as you notice you have missed your dose. We suggest if it is 8 hours prior to bedtime, do not take medication. It may interfere with your sleep. Just take your medication at the next scheduled dose….DO NOT DOUBLE UP ON MEDICATION.
Can I still drink caffeine or alcohol while taking the medication?
Caffeine and alcohol can still be consumed, but in moderation. Our informational video will explain healthy quantities in more details.
